All 5 children ( 2 weren't mine) were under 16
I suddenly was very grateful for yard sale
We were using some clothe napkins
Not only did we save about 10 trees by not using paper napkins
I also saved alot of money on a product that gets used once and thrown away
Thrown into the landfills on Tuesdays.
Before I became a parent , none of these thoughts would have even crossed my mind , especially during a time I was trying to enjoy my food.
I know you can't just find clothe napkins at any old yard sale .
I just wanted to plant in my reader's heads an excellent way to put a little money back in your budget and save a few trees
Of course , it will take money for laundry detergent and hot water to wash these napkins.
Oh , but it just hit me - I could wash them in the sink , in cold water and use about a dime size amount of dish detergent.
Gosh, this thrifty lifestyle really scares me at times!
Although the money I just saved by not using paper napkins at dinner ,certainly will find its way back into my budget so I can afford some more much needed school supplies.
Do you already use clothe napkins as a way to save money?.
Do you have any suggestions on other ways to wash dirty linens and save money doing it?.

Great ideas always get the credit they deserve and maybe I can include it in one of my new blogs to share with the other thrifty readers
